Panasonic Lumix ZS20 14.1 MP High Sensitivity MOS Digital Camera with 20x Optical Zoom (Black)
I can not decide between the three cameras (and their variants, Sony and Panasonic HX30 ZX20) because so many of their ideas made the camera sound very similar. So I went out and bought (from the merchant accepts returns) a camera in each of the three (I do not need Wi-Fi or GPS, so that's how I settled on variations at expensive). And then I took pictures and video in different conditions. I am not a professional photographer, and I did not check Imatest or any other specific images (you can read C / net for that), but here is an experience of a person often those who have been photographed and video with three cameras side by side, it's a comparison that you do not often see.

The bottom line is three cameras are very similar with a few minor differences, but these differences so that they can go out and make you decide that you want one more than the other.

Generally, NONE of the DSLR camera as a replacement. Anyone who writes that the good image as a DSLR does not say exactly. In addition, none of the camera is a replacement for a high-end camcorder.

IMAGES OUT

If you're taking pictures outside on a sunny day of all the cameras will take pictures very nice for small to medium zoom (no larger than 8 x 10). All cameras produce crisp images quite nice it would be very suitable for that purpose. And, like most people, I do not remember ever expanding picture more than 8 x 10, so it is not a common problem.

What could be a problem is if you zoom all the way and want to cut a picture (which sometimes happens), the difference in the way the camera shots of the view when you "pixel peep" has can make a difference.
